Dr. Dorina Popescu

Welcome to Dr. Dorina Popescu’s dental practice! With over 20 years of experience in cosmetic, general, and children’s dentistry, Dr. Dorina is not just a dentist; she is a passionate expert dedicated to your dental well-being. Her journey in dentistry began at a young age, culminating in graduating with honors from the esteemed Carol Davila School of Dentistry. Having moved to California in 2003 to join her beloved husband, she not only met but exceeded the requirements for her California dental license, earning exceptional accolades.

Dr. Dorina’s commitment to dental education and excellence led to a teaching position at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she served as a clinical restorative lecturer until 2014. Now, as the leader of our practice, she brings her wealth of knowledge and skill to ensure that you receive top-notch dental care. Dr. Joseph P. Sciarra

I have had the privilege of providing dental care to thousands of the finest children to be found anywhere. As a Pediatric Dentist, I feel strongly about the importance and advantages of introducing kids to their dentist at a very young age. Youngsters that begin their dental visits around age two will learn to accept dental care more readily and with less apprehension. By starting children so young, many dental problems can also be prevented by early intervention.

• Married for 43 years, wife Ella is dental hygienist and works in the office. They have 3 children.
• Proud Papa to two granddaughters, Savanna Marie and Scarlett Stella.
• Dr. Joe enjoys snow skiing, traveling, and spending time with family boating on the Colorado River.
